There are many traditions and rituals that celebrate the history of our school, and our Christmas Concert is one of the most poignant.
A time for our entire community to gather, for every child to sing, and for us to celebrate the end of this half of the year, it is wonderful to sit in such a space of joy.
This year, our Christmas Concert saw our youngest learners in Junior and Senior Infants showcase their growing skills, singing and sharing with us their beautiful tunes.
Our First and Second Form students showed just how marvellous their Drama Club was, and their performance made for many laughs and much celebration of their courage.
The gratitude speeches, given by those who were not singing, reminded us of how our school succeeds through the support of every staff member – that it truly does take a village.
And for our Choir – well the ballroom came alive with their magnificent voices and the harmonies they had spent a long time developing.
We thank all those who joined in our celebration of all things Christmas, for Ms. Barry and her leadership of the choirs and all staff who made the day a resounding success.
Thank you to our families, for sharing in this special day in our calendar and we very much look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
