Events at Headfort

Why not consider this beautiful place for your next event? We welcome enquiries.

A house is not a home... until you step into Headfort

Headfort and its grand estate played a significant part in the evolution of Kells here in County Meath. We are so proud of the House we call our School and would be delighted to share it with you should you be planning an event or possible tour of it. With Magnolia trees spanning over two centuries in age, ancient Berch and Rhododendrons so bountiful it makes it impossible not to feel a world away, we look forward to opening the grounds up in the Summer of 2026.

The House is, in many respects, is an indisputable national treasure, as Ireland’s last remaining example of the work of the neoclassical architect and interior designer Robert Adam.

We are excited to begin opening the House to our local and global communities, to share the story of it, and to open the grounds to those who might be planning a picnic, a festival, a garden show, a short film, or even an antiques roadshow.

If you are considering an event in Kells and require a space with an unequalled story and unsurpassable scenery in this corner of County Meath, please do contact our office for information at office@headfortschool.ie

We will update this page soon for the specific dates that the House is available for tours, events, or other moments that require the magic of a place that is over two centuries old.
